Brian Moody

Founder

Brian Moody is a Nelson Nash Institute Authorized Practitioner of the Infinite Banking Concept, bringing 16 years of experience in real estate investment and a lifelong passion for personal finance. He actively uses his own family banking system to build wealth and finds deep fulfillment in helping others achieve financial freedom beyond conventional Wall Street approaches.

Before founding Perennial Wealth Concepts — his first venture dedicated to teaching IBC — Brian spent a decade teaching math to middle and high school students. He now channels that same passion for education into guiding clients of Remnant Finance through the process of becoming their own bankers. Brian also serves in the PA Air National Guard, flying KC-135 air refueling aircraft. It was through his resistance to the DoD's Covid-19 vaccine mandate that he connected with Hans Toohey, and together they founded Remnant Finance.

Brian has been happily married to Molly for 16 years and is the proud father of four. His family lives out these financial principles firsthand — building multi-generational wealth — and he's passionate about helping others do the same.

For over a decade, Hans "Stazi" Toohey was an enthusiastic student of personal finance — in the conventional sense. He championed government-qualified retirement plans, trusted the standard financial playbook, and never questioned the lack of control he had over his own capital. The familiar refrain that "the market always goes up, eventually" was gospel. As a Naval Aviator with a distinguished career and a military pension on the horizon, he had little reason to look elsewhere.

That changed when he refused to comply with the military's COVID-19 vaccination order. The experience reframed everything — including how he viewed government-promoted financial strategies. Permanently grounded and suddenly without an expected pension, he had both the time and the motivation to rethink his financial future. Through a pilot mandate resistance group, he met Brian Moody, who handed him a copy of Becoming Your Own Banker. There was no going back.

Hans became his own banker and discovered a passion for helping others cut through the noise of financial mystification and reclaim control of their capital. Today, he brings that passion to clients ready to stop outsourcing their capital. He lives in Coronado, CA with his wife Stacy, daughters Madeline and Natalia, and a very good boy named Ollie.
